I clearly remember the feeling of exhilaration when creating these paintings. Most of the art products used were new to me.

It was a very exciting time. I’d lay awake each night thinking and planning the next days adventure. What paint to use and when to use it. Considering texture, glazing sequences and drying times of each paint which introduced me to a new art tool…. a hair dryer.

Each morning I’d almost run down to my studio to check the progress from the day before. This went on for weeks resulting in the creation of more than 200 paintings.

I’m very happy to share these with you. Now, onto the next creative adventure.
